“Katha is not just for the emancipation of forefathers”, says Pujya Bhaishri in Jogninar Katha

Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri was organised in Jogninar village of Kutchh from 1 November to 8 November 2015 in the holy proximity of Maa Jogani. People from 90 villages had assembled to hear this katha with eagerness. Their common mantra was “Listening to katha from the lips of our Pujya Bhaishri”. This mantra transformed the entire event into a joyful festival.

The Shobha Yatra commenced on the first day from the temple of Jogani maa. Thousands of people joined the Shobha Yatra singing the name of God. After the lighting of auspicious lamp and benedictory addresses, Pujya Bhaishri commenced narrating the katha.

During the katha, Pujya Bhaishri narrated many incidents of Bhagavat in detail and also sang many bhajans composed by various saints unravelling the depth of Shrimad Bhagavat. He emphasised that this katha was not just for the emancipation of forefathers but it is also for the emancipation of living people. Katha strengthens the character of people who hear it and for those who practice it, this world itself becomes a heaven.

Expressing his views on the present political conditions, Pujya Bhaishri said that people’s representative should carry out their work with social awareness and thoughtfulness. Their words, behaviour and social exchange should be restrained and should be for the benefit of the society. It is extremely necessary that all their activities be refined and transparent.

Shri Arjanbhai Kangad and his family were the main sponsors of this katha. Seamless arrangements had been made to accommodate thousands of people to hear this katha and serve them food.During his katha Pujya Bhaishri visited various rural areas and conducted satsang with the local people.
