Apart from basic education, the Rishikumars of Sandipani Rishikul are exposed to various other facilities and fun-filled activities such as: computer education, classical music, and arts and craft.

The students are well exposed to health and fitness as well as physical development through regular Physical and Yogic exercises, sports such as cricket, volleyball and football and historic games like kho-kho and kabaddi.

Pujya Bhaishri is often present at some competitions and tournaments. In 2016, when Sandipani celebrated 33 years since being established, Pujya Bhaishri was present with Pujya Sant Shri Jentiram Bapa, Respected Trustee Shri Taparia ji, other trustees, the principal teachers and staff whereby he presented a trophy to the winning group in the Cricket tournament. Thereafter, he even played cricket and entertained the rest of the students and staff.

Rishikumars participate in District, Regional and National Sanskrit competitions, games and youth festivals organised by Somnath Sanskrit University every year. Read more about our winners from past years. Our Rishikumars frequently win national level competitions in Sanskrit and are generally among the top ten students in Gujarat University exams.

To increase confidence and provide additional organisation and management skills, events are organised where Rishikumars provide speeches on various subjects of Sanskrit, hold Clean India campaigns in nearby villages and distribute food in surrounding areas during disasters such as floods and draughts.

Rishikumars also participate and manage entire events at Sandipani and Shri Hari Mandir such as Navratri, Patotsav, Guru Purnima, Janmashtami, Deepavali and Holi and many others.

In addition, annual events at Sandipani are organised such as competitions including, Sanskrit debates, elocution, sports, music and programmes by Rishikumars including staging plays, instrumental music and singing. Rishikumars also help look after patients when medical camps are organised every year during various events such as Navratri and Patotsav.

Recently, when mass weddings have been organised in nearby towns, Rishikumars have provided their services, skills and expertise from the beginning till the end to a successful event.

With utmost discipline, Rishikumars study, serve and have fun. During any events, Rishikumars lead with various opportunities to imbibe in them the qualities of empathy and humility along with leadership skills to make true the motto: Come for education, leave for service to society.
