God, himself, has showed us the best path to attain Him in the fourth śloka of the twelfth chapter of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. He says, ‘I am attained by those who have control over their senses, equality in their intellect and work for the welfare of all living beings’. Therefore, to summarise this in three words – self-control, equality and service. One cannot develop self-control without devotion for God, equality without the knowledge of discrimination of what is right and wrong and any task we perform with God in mind is service. One who lives life with the wellbeing of all living beings attains eternal bliss, eternal happiness and eternal peace, the embodiment of which is Shri Krishna.
