Sandipani Wins The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar Award for 2017-18

Sandipani Vidyaniketan in Porbandar is honoured to have received the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar at District level for 2017-18.

The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar (Cleanliness award for educational institutions) was instituted by the

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2016 to recognise, inspire and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in schools.

The explicit purpose of the awards is to honour schools that have undertaken significant steps towards fulfilling the mandate of the Swachh Vidyalaya campaign. Further information is available on www.swachhvidyalaya.com.

Pujya Bhaishri greatly emphasises on the importance of cleanliness and lives accordingly. He is the brand ambassador of Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign of Gujarat.

Babadeshwar Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya is proud to receive the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar Award for 2017/18 and Rs. 10,000 as a result of Pujya Bhaishri’s guidance and the observation of cleanliness by the staff and students of Sandipani.

The award was presented by the collector of Porbandar District and the District Education Officer to the professors of Sandipani, Shri Gaurishankarbhai Joshi and Shri Nandalbhai Pathak on 31st August 2018.
