Pujya Bhaishri Visits School Built under His Inspiration in 1995 with Day 2,3 & 4 Summaries – Latur Katha

Pujya Bhaishri talks about Peace, three qualities that must be present in a devotee’s life and the importance of Katha and name chant from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita on days 2,3 and 4 Latur Katha. Also read further for other events that took place in Latur in these three days.

Day 2- Peace is readily available

A medicine is to cure a disease not to maintain a healthy life. Soap does not bring the shine to clothes. It only gets rid of the dirt. Similarly, we do not need to put any effort to gain peace. It is already available.

Bliss is eternal and available to us. We need to be careful and save ourselves from the actions that cause distress. This is similar to the concept of how we are careful on the road to avoid an accident with cars when walking. Ironically, we do not implement this concept elsewhere.

Refrain from situations and incidents that cause conflict. Conflict will arise in many ways in life. Just like a good boatman rides a boat in high tides and reaches safely across to the shore, similarly, ride your boat-like life amongst the tides wisely to get to the shore of peace and bliss.

On the evening of day 2, there was a gathering in which Pujya Bhaishri was pleased to see children reciting various stotras from our scriptures.

Day 3 – Three things that must be present in the life of a devotee

Three things must be present in the life of a devotee:

1) Wait – Wait with the faith that God will certainly shower his compassion and come. God came to Shabri after many years of waiting.

2) Test – Everyone lives in this world with their own purpose. If you become a barrier to someone’s dreams, your own friend or relative will become alien. The love shown in this world is deceptive. The quicker you understand the world, the better it is, so that you can walk on the path of God faster. You can never attain the world, whilst you can never lose God.

3) Critique – Self-reflect every day and appraise yourself. How can life become a celebration? How can every moment be joyful? Be brave to let go something if you have to as well as get hold of something in life should the need be. Your path ahead will be visible through self-appraisal.

Shri Amit Deshmukh, a politician who represents the Latur City Constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, graced the Katha on day 4.

Pujya Bhaishri also visited the school that was built by BSST under the inspiration of Pujya Bhaishri in 1995, following the disastrous earthquake as well as the Hanumant Mandir in Latur.

On day 4, Pujya Bhaishri focused on the importance of Katha and name chant from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

In Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna tells Arjuna that for those who are constantly engrossed in my Katha and name chant, I grace them with an intellect with which they can understand my leela (pastimes).

There are some people in the search for God without the support of God’s name or Katha. However, it is Shri Krishna who showers his grace and shows a devotee the path to attain Him. God cannot be attained through resources but resources are gained via God’s grace.
