Pujya Bhaishri Felicitates 26 Senior Citizens Who Have Commited their Lives to Seva
Pujya Bhaishri appreciated the thought, inclination and activity that brought everyone to work together. If asked what kind of a human being he likes, Pujya Bhaishri said ‘A man who likes his fellow man is a man that I like’.
Pujya Bhaishri stated that God will not mind if a person doesn’t believe in Him. After all, it is enough that God believes in man and that is why He has provided the earth and everything needed for one’s survival.
God doesn’t need man to acknowledge his need for God; What is needed is for man to believe in and acknowledge his need for his fellow man. Man will always need his fellow man to exist. Never live in the fallacy of being self-sufficient or independent. Our existence is in partnership with nature and not as a proprietorship!
Speaking of the standards for virtuous conduct in every dimension of human relations, Pujya Bhaishri upheld the Ramayan as the guide for ideal human conduct.
In Pujya Bhaishri’s view, humans become extremely sweet to look at as they age, especially after 70 years of age- just as Gandhi Bapu looked more radiant in his later years than he did in South Africa in his youth. What is needed is the development of inner inclinations such that along with age exists complete self-satisfaction that radiates from such a face. The secret to this beauty is the inclination to serve, the activities of service and the self-satisfaction that manifests within. Such a person is a blessing and inspires blessings from others younger than him to live a long life.
Pujya Bhaishri says the nectar of life is this and nothing else- a life of enthusiastic service. This nectar is what fills man with positivity, enthusiasm, strength and vigour.
The story of churning the ocean in the Shrimad Bhagavat yielded both poison and nectar. This journey from poison to nectar is the story of our life and we all are gathered to show respect to those who have successfully manifested this nectar in their lives.
