Sadhana Retreat ends with Graduation Ceremony in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri

The Sadhana retreat ended just before the Guru Purnima celebrations in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri. On 12th July, the students started the day with learning the mantra which invokes Suryanarayana, the Lord which presides over the Sun. In the Sanatan Study class the students had a walkthrough of the Bhagavad Gita and the Concept of God/Divinity in Hindu scriptures. The day ended with the Shrimad Bhagavatam class where the main subject matter was the story of Prahlad and the incarnation of Lord Narasimha.

Pujya Bhaishri had also arrived on the day. He gave his blessings and looked at the presentations by the students which had been carried out during group activities.

On the final day of graduation, the students started the day earlier than usual to learn a śloka which allows all students to memorise all 18 Puranas. This was taught by Shri Bharatbhai Shilu. Thereafter, the students learnt about the four main classical philosophies of Vedanta within the Sanatan Study class by Krunalbhai.

Poojaben Taparia provided a detailed seminar on the history of Pujya Bhaishri and Sandipani Vidyaniketan. Shri Shyambhai concluded the Shrimad Bhagavatam and explained the importance of how the text teaches the ultimate aim for an individual: happiness, peace and bliss. The day concluded with the Graduation Ceremony where all delegates were given a spiritually uplifting talk by Pujya Bhaishri. Pujya Bhaishri encouraged each individual to continue to study and practice spirituality in their daily life outside of the Sadhana retreat.

The Sadhana retreat left all delegates energised and fully charged to face the world with the practice of spirituality in their daily life.
