Usefulness of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita explained by Pujya Bhaishri at Kutch and Celebrations at Sandipani on his birthday

This year, on Pujya Bhaishri’s birthday, on 31st August, the programme ‘Vichar Vandana’ was organised at Gandhidham, Kutch. This programme was based on elaborating on the usefulness of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in our daily lives. The programme was held in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri and many holy saints like Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Guru Sharananandji Maharaj, Pujya Ganeshdasji Maharaj and Pujya Devi Prasad Bapu.
Pujya Bhaishri in this programme said that in the current day, we have become servants of things like mobile phones and cars. It is possible to live without these luxuries but the country is facing terrible damage with the loss of good conduct and characters. One person has stopped trusting another due to this. As such times, the only solution is refuge of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
Pujya Bhaishri also said that a man is not immortal but his/her thoughts are. Gandhiji thought, presented his ideas and lived them. Gandhiji’s notions now continue to live. Gandhiji had said that our scriptures discuss our lives and guide us in life. The other name of life is Shri Krishna and vice versa. There is no deed in life which snatches our peace and happiness from us. Shri Krishna’s darshan lies in living our life in simplicity by getting rid of our ego, selfishness and attachments.
The funds collected during this programme, Rs. 500,000, were in aid of the flood disasters at Uttarakhand.
The Vichar Vandana programme was shown on Sanskar TV. You can view this programme on our you tube site via the following links:
