Glimpses of CM (Gujarat) Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel’s visit to ShriHari Mandir at Sandipani Vidyaniketan (Porbandar) on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti in the divine presence of Pujya Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza on 2nd October, 2021.
CM Bhupendrabhai Patel was warmly welcomed on campus by Rishis and Trustees of Sandipani Vidyaniketan, an institute for Vedic and modern education in Porbandar founded by Pujya Bhaishri Rameshbhai Oza.
CM Bhupendrabhai and visiting dignitaries took darshan of Lord ShriHari (Lakshmi Narayan) along with all Devi-Devtas in this grand temple dedicated to Sanatana Dharma (located between Dwarika and Somnath) with a science gallery inaugurated by Former President of India, Dr Abdul Kalam at its base.
The gardens of ShriHari Mandir are flanked by a grand pair of moortis of the divine grihast couples of this city of Sudamapuri- Gandhiji and Kasturba as well as Sudamaji and Sushilaji. The installations were inaugurated in 2008 by then CM (Guj) Shri Narendrabhai Modi. The pious city if Porbandar (also known as ‘Sudamapuri’) is the birthplace of the ‘Father of the Nation’ of India, Shri Mahatma Gandhi ji.
Cordial discussions were held at ‘Aatithya’ guesthouse regarding the various educational activities of Sandipani at various campuses in Gujarat (Porbandar, Devka, Saputara) for rural, tribal and girl-child upliftment through education under Pujya Bhaishri’s leadership. CM Shri Bhupendrabhai ji sought blessings to serve the people of Gujarat.
