“One whose heart is tormented by violence is a true Hindu” said Pujya Bhaishri during Zarpara Katha in Kutchh
The Zarpara katha in Kutchh began on 28th October, 2007. The organizers of this Srimad Bhagwat Gyan Yagna were the Charan Samaj and the Akhil Bharatiya Charan Adhiveshan Ayojan Samiti; The Chief host of the katha was Shri Dhanrajbhai Jakhubhai Seda family. About 20,000 to 25,000 people attended this katha.
The grand shobha yatra of the pothiji on the 28th October began at the temple of Shri Param Pujya Aayee Shri Sonal maa, passed through the entire Zarpara village and arrived at the katha venue, where it was received amongst the auspicious Vedic chants recited by scholarly Brahmins. The katha was inaugurated with deep pragatya by Param Pujya Deval Maa.
The narration of katha began in the second session. Explaining the importance of Ahimsa, (non violence) Pujya Bhaishri said, “Ahimsa paramo daharma” i.e. Non violence is the supreme religion.
Shri Vinobaji has defined ‘Hindu’ as “Hinsaya dooyate chittam yasya” i.e. One whose heart gets tormented by violence is a true Hindu. God has created human beings as well as all other living beings. They too have an absolute right to life.
Referring to the “Bhagavan Mahavir Ahimsa Dhaam”, where the arrangements of Pujya Bhaishri’s stay were made, Pujya Bhaishri mentioned that if one wishes to learn Ahimsa, then one should see the work being undertaken at “Bhagavan Mahavir Ahimsa Dham” where mute and meek animals are being cared for with great empathy.
Many saints and sages came to the katha and graced the Charan Samaj with their blessings. These included Param Pujya Girijanandgiriji bapu (Ratadianana), Mahantshri Brhmanandbharati (Chapaleshwar Mahadev, Mandavi), Mahantshri Karshandas bapu (vandhav), Mahantshri Kishordasji (Kabir mandir, Bhuj), Mahantshri Haridasji bapu (Haridwar), Param Pujya Aayeeshri Deval maa (Zarpara) and Param Pujya Ayeeshri Haansbai maa (of Ratadia).
