Bhagavat on the Banks of the Bhagirathi, Uttar Kashi, India
The divine stream of Lord Shri Krishna’s life story flew from the lips of Pujya Bhaishri to the accompaniment of the river Bhagirathi flowing in the vicinity of the enchanting natural settings of Uttarkashi located in the lap of the Himalaya.
The Shobha yatra and the Kalash yatra began from the temple of Lord Shri Kashi Vishwanath and after passing through the entire Uttarkashi arrived at the katha venue along with the local deities.
Pujya Bhaishri lent a divine lustre to the katha by discussing the most complex issues of Vedanta, Karma, Vyaakrana, etc. Enunciating the principle of Karma, Pujya Bhaishri explained that the arrow stored in the quiver is the Sanchit (Collected) Karma; the arrow put on the stretched bow-string is the Kriyamaan (Active) Karma and the arrow shot from bow is the Prarabdh (Fate) Karma. Learned Scholars and thinkers were also present in the audience of this katha.
Nandotsava was the most memorable of festivals amongst the various events that were celebrated during the katha. The people in the audience were deeply moved while celebrating this occasion. Pondal dance presented by school children was another highlight of this katha.
Pujya Bhaishri and the Rishikumars of Sandipani Vidyaniketan performed the Aarati of Shri Gangaji and recited the divine hymn Gangalahari. Women members of Sanskriti Parivar undertook the recitation of Shri Ramcharit Manas.
The whole family of Shri Manishbhai Bakesuria and also the family of Shri Deendayalji Jalan provided excellent services in arranging this katha.
