“Pujya Bhaishri is a living embodiment of Shrimad Bhagavat” proclaimed Acharya Shri Vrajkumar during Amravati Bhagavat Katha

Shri Krishna Seva Trust organised a Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri on 15th November 2008 in Amravati after a long span of 20 years. The Chief hosts of this katha were Shri Ravikumar Rana and Shri Chandrakumar Jajodiya.

The katha commenced with a grand Shobha Yatra of the Pothiji. Thereafter celebrated Acharya Shri Vrajkumar mahodayaji of Vaishnava sect from Vadodara said in his speech that that it was through the boundless grace of Lord Shri Krishna that the people of Amravati have had the good fortune of welcoming Pujya Bhaishri in this holy city of Amravati. Pujya Bhaishri has become a living embodiment of Shrimad Bhagavatji.

Pujya Bhaishri expressed his deep concern for the ecological balance saying that trees are an important part of the nature. Trees preserve the moisture levels of the soil. We have wrecked havoc by mindlessly cutting down trees. In this process, we have upset the weather cycle, resulting into untimely rains in the winter. We have achieved great benefits from the trees planted by our previous generations. Each of us should plant and grow at least six trees in our lives in order to repay the benefits we receive from the trees planted by others. An individual who does not plant a tree is born as a tree in the next birth.

Shri Krishna janmotsava, Govardhan pooja and Rukmini vivaha were celebrated with great zest & zeal during the katha. Blood donation and dental camps were also organised during the katha.

Pujya Bhaishri visited the temples of Lord Hanuman, Shri Venkatesh prabhu, and Shri Jagdamba during his stay in Amravati. He also visited Her Excellency Shrimati Pratibha Patil, the President of India, at her local residence where he was welcomed by Shri Devisinghji Shekhawat, the president’s husband.
