A blissful Bhagavat Katha at the holy place of param pujya Bhramalin Dongreji Maharaj

From 13th November to 20th November 2011, Pujya Bhaishri narrated a blissful Shrimad Bhagavat Katha at the banks of the Holy river Maa Narmadaa in Malsar. This is the divine place where the well respected and loved saint Param Pujya Bhramalin Dongreji Maharaj performed his religious practices and penance. This Krishna katha was organised to mark Param Pujya Dongreji Maharaj’s death anniversary by the chief host Shri Karshanbhai Patel of the Nirma family.
On the first day, the Shobha Yatra began from ‘Sant Dongreji Aashram’. Pujya Bhaishri sat in an elegantly decorated chariot with the Pothiji. Many saints and ascetics from Malsar, devotees from all over the world and the Nirma family joined the joyous Shobha Yatra. The Shobha Yatra was provided a warm welcome at the katha venue, Shrinath Dham, at the banks of Maa Narmadaa. This was followed by a pooja of the Pothiji and kindling of the auspicious lamp. Pujya Bhaishri then began to narrate the divine Shrimad Bhagavat Katha.
Pujya Bhaishri elaborately recited the importance of saints and their importance during the katha. He said, “Pujya Bapji used to advise that in order to earn money, work hard, but do not commit any sins for that purpose”.
Pujya Bhaishri said that material objects are indeed important to man; however, the importance of people is greater than that of material objects; more important than people is the character of people; people’s thoughts are more significant than character; even more crucial is the ability to discriminate between good and bad (vivek); and the most important of all is God.
During the course of the katha, the idol of Parma Pujya Dongreji Maharaj was bathed with holy water and a grand pooja performed of his paduka (wooden sandals). A divine aarati of the holy river Maa Narmadaa was also carried out.

All in all, this was a delightful and blissful katha attended by many saints, devotees and industrialists.
