Bhavnagar Blessed With Shrimad Bhagavat Katha Held In Two Daily Sessions By Pujya Bhaishri

Shri Matrudham Charitable Trust organised a divine and grand Shrimad Bhagavat Katha By Pujya Bhaishri in Bhavnagar from 9th January to 16th January 2011.
The Shobha Yatra commenced from the house of Shri Mahavirsinhji Chudasama, the chief sponsor of this katha. Hundreds of people joined the procession as it passed the town of Bhavnagar singing the Lord’s name in glory and playing musical instruments. Param Pujya Shri Sitaram Bapu and the founder of Matrudham, Pujya Zarna Maa, also joined the Shobha Yatra. At the katha venue, Matrudham, the katha was inaugurated with deepa pragatya and welcome speeches from the present dignitaries.
During the course of the katha Pujya Bhaishri said that the purpose of this katha is to develop humanism into human beings and therefore spread and encourage humans to carry out their dharma (i.e. duties). This fact does not affect people of only one religion or sect; in effect, it applies to any person in any religion who wants to follow the path of dharma. Therefore, this katha is open to everyone in search of the Truth (God) and who have taken refuge in dharma and those who follow dharma.
Shri Krishna janma, Shri Goverdhan pooja and Shri Rukmini vivah were celebrated with great fanfare. The listeners were doubly delighted in listening to the katha since this Bhagavat katha was held in two sessions per day after a very long time.
