A glimpse on how Holi was celebrated at Shri Hari Mandir in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri
The spring festival of Holi was celebrated majestically at Shri Hari Mandir in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri. On the evening of 26th March 2013, Pujya Bhaishri spread various colours on the deities in Shri Hari Mandir. After the evening aarati, Pujya Bhaishri and other devotees worshipped the pyre of Holi set up in the north-east corner of the courtyard of the temple complex. Pujya Bhaishri then distributed prasad to everyone present. Indiraben Vinodbhai Sadhu, the host of this celebration hoisted the sacred flag and performed the worship of Shri Satya Narayan Bhagavan.
On 27th March 2013, the day of Dhuli vandan, Shri Niranjanbhai Thakkar hoisted the flag and performed the worship of Shri Satya Narayan Bhagavan. All deities in Shri Hari Mandir were dressed in colourful clothes and ornaments. It felt as though Shri Hari was ready to play Dhuleti with all the devotees. Pujya Bhaishri played Holi with the deities and then proceeded to the garden of the temple complex to play a colourful Holi with the excited assembled devotees.
At midday, Pujya Bhaishri performed the Rajbhog Aarati at Shri Hari Mandir. This was followed by Hari Naam Sankirtan and finally a speech by Pujya Bhaishri where he bestowed his blessings on everyone. Holi Celebrations were greatly enjoyed by all in the divine presence of Shri Hari and Pujya Bhaishri.
