An exquisite shrimad Bhagavat Katha in the memory of pujya Mamaji in Bihar

An exquisite Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri was organised in the town of Baksar, in Bihar, from 23rd November to 30th November 2011, in the divine memory of Param Pujya Bhramlin ‘Mamaji’ Narayandas Bhaktmaliji. Pujya Mamaji and the town of Baksar are well known in the country for their great celebrations of the wedding of Shri Sitaramji. Hence, a grand katha was completed by Pujya Bhaishri in this great place of penance of Pujya Mamaji. Shri Akhileshji Khemka was blessed with the golden opportunity of being the chief host of this katha.
A grand Shobha Yatra was arranged on the first day from Shri Ram Mandir. Shri Ramram Bapa, the manager of Pujya Mamaji’s aashram, Jankididi, Pujya Mamaji’s daughter and several saints and devotees joined the Shobha Yatra. At the katha venue, the lighting of auspicious lamp was performed, followed by welcome speeches. Thereafter, Pujya Bhaishri commenced the Shrimad Bhagavat katha with mangalacharan.
Pujya Bhaishri said, “The people of Bihar may be less fortunate but they are filled with affection. Bhakti (devotion) is abundant here. This is Pujya Mamaji’s abode of devotion. Although Pujya Mamaji may not be physically present amongst us, his consciousness is always inspiring and blessing us.”
Pujya Bhaishri also said that Shrimad Bhagavat is the focus point of all our lives such that when we come and listen to this holy scripture our entire wishes and desires come to a peaceful rest. Shrimad Bhagavat is a form of God himself. We are performing a pooja through words of this form of God during these eight days of the katha.

During the course of the katha, Pujya Bhaishri joined in the grand joyous celebrations of the marriage of Shri Sitaram Bhagavan. Many holy saints also graced the katha and this celebration with their presence.
