Atlanta and New Jersey Engrossed in Shri Krishna Devotion in Two Bhagavat Kathas by Pujya Bhaishri
Atlanta Bhagavat Katha
Pujya Bhaishri narrated the Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in Atlanta, GA, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Ambaji USA- Shree Shakti Mandir from 20th June to 27th June 2018.
The first katha for the inauguration of this temple along with the consecration of deities by Pujya Bhaishri took place in 1993. The re-consecration of the deities at Shree Shakti Mandir was performed once again by Pujya Bhaishri during this Katha.
During the Katha, Pujya Bhaishri visited the life of Shri Krishna and explained ways of attaining devotion for Lord Krishna which leads to ultimate happiness in life. To live in the service of Krishna and in Krishna consciousness is devotion. Pujya Bhaishri said that the Vedas have taught us that everything in existence is Shri Hari and nothing is outside of Him.
Pujya Bhaishri further said that our Rishis advise us not to try to attain Shri Hari or understand Him. Simply start with loving Him. Loving those around us, seeing Shri Hari in all and everything is a start to know Shri Hari.
Starting with Pothi Yatra, devotees celebrated Krishna Janmotsav, Govardhan Līla and Rukmini Vivāh during the Katha.
Atlanta Katha was filled with Krishna devotion and bhajan for seven days.
New Jersey Bhagavat Katha
Thereafter from 29th June to 5th July, Shri Vallabh Youth Organisation (VYO), inspired by Shri Vrajkumarji Mahodayshri, organized another Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri in New Jersey Convention Centre, Edison, New Jersey.
The organization by VYO was focused on increasing youth participation and spead the knowledge on Pushti marg as well as the teachings and philosophy of Hinduism.
This katha was attended by over 2,500 people making it a divine experience for all.
