Bhagavat Katha flows to Champaranya
Pujya Bhaishri narrated the Bhagavat katha in Champaranya, the sacred birth place of Shri Vallabhacharyaji from 21st November to 29th November 2009 in the inspiring presence of Param Pujya Yuvraj Shri Dwarkeshlalji and Pujyapad 108 Shri Shishir Maharajji. The chief host of the katha was the family of Shri Hargovinddas Patel.
The grand shobha yatra of the Pothiji commenced from the temple of Pragatyapeeth of Shri Vallabhacharyaji and arrived at the venue accompanied by cheerful sacred chants of the participating devotees. This was followed by lighting of the auspicious lamp.
Pujya Bhaishri began narrating the katha with a divine description of the first meeting of Shri Mahaprabhuji and Shreejibawa. He continued with a detailed explanation of the devotional lifestyle of the Pushti tradition.
Shri Krishna janmotsav was celebrated on the 26th November and Shri Goverdhan pooja was performed on the 27th November. The divine Rukmini vivah was solemnised on the 28th amidst divine Vedic chants and singing of amusing wedding songs. Presentations were displayed from the Shrimad Bhagavat on a daily basis.
