Celebrations, Books Launched and Shri Hari Mandir Darshan on Guru Purnima 2019

On day 2, 16 July 2019, Guru Purnima celebrations were carried out with all the rituals in the auditorium at Sandipani Vidyaniketan, in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri.

The morning began with hoisting of the five divine flags atop Shri Hari Mandir. This was followed by the recitation of the verses describing the glory of Guru from Guru Gita and then Pujya Bhaishri’s divine message on Guru Purnima.

The stage in the auditorium had been decorated based on the theme of one verse from Bhagavat on Guru.

Pujya Bhaishri’s message – Who is a Sadguru?

Pujya Bhaishri said that when the knowledge from the entire universe accumulates and manifests in one body, it is known as Sadguru. When the essence of all scriptures gathers in one and manifests, this is Sadguru.

A Sadguru is one whose every word is a mantra for us. You begin to walk on the path guided by the Sadguru with faith. Many great persons deliver their message through their own actions. Every action of a Sadguru is a teaching from which we must learn.

Trust is devotion. Faith is strongly believing that what our scriptures and Sadguru say is one hundred percent true. Seeing God in a Guru is devotion, whereas God in the form of a Guru is knowledge. That land is pious on which a great person walks, because his/her actions and living is pure. Until the holy feet of such a Sadguru does not fall on our head, our mind will not become pure. Until our mind is not pure, we will not be enlightened with knowledge.

This knowledge has manifested in front of us as Sadguru to bestow us with grace. Today is the day to lovingly and gratefully bow as well as pay respects to our Sadguru. If your faith in Guru is like that of Eklavya, then even an idol made of earth will lead to your progress.

Let us present our love, affection and gratitude to our Guru today, bow to our Guru and pray to our Guru to look after us and lead us to the path of our well-being.

After Pujya Bhaishri’s message, the ceremony of worshipping Guru was completed. The chief host of the celebrations was the family of Alokbhai and Juhiben Avasthi from Lucknow. Shri Kokilaben Ambani was also present as a special guest on this occasion.
