Diwali Celebrations at Sandipani

The auspicious occasion of Diwali was celebrated at the courtyard of Shri Hari Mandir on the evening of 9th November 2007. Clothes and crackers were distributed to 400 deprived students studying in various schools of Porbandar, bringing cheer and happiness into their lives. The sight of the beautifully illuminated Shri Hari Mandir for the occasion was truly enchanting. The trustees of Sandipani: Collector Shri Parmar, DEO Shri Shukla, the Vice Chancellor of Shri Somnath Sanskrit University, Shri Pankajbhai Jani, Mr. Tanna and Tusharbhai Purohit graced the event with their presence.

On the following day on New Years, Pujya Bhaishri performed all three aartis in Shri Hari Mandir. He gave upavastras to people gathered at the occasion and bestowed his and Shri Hari’s blessings upon them.
