For the first time in Mumbai Pujya Bhaishri narrated Hanumat Charitra Katha
For the first time in Mumbai an anushthaan of reciting Hanuman Chalisa One lakh twenty five thousand times was organized on the auspicious occasion of Shri Hanuman Jayanti from 9th – 13th April 2006. Narration of Hanumat Charitra by Pujya Bhaishri was also arranged for the first time in Mumbai. This entire program was organized by ‘Shri Paropkar Satsang Samiti’ which was established by Swami Shri Satyamitranand Giriji of Bharat Mata Mandir, Haridwar. The Chief host of this program was Shri Laxminarayan Biyani, Chairman of Shri Paropkar Satsang Samiti.
Fascinating temples of Shri Siddhivinayak, Shri Ram Darbar, Shri Radhakrishna, Ramdevji Baath, Shri Khaatushyamji, Shri Rani Satiji and Shri Hanumanji of Salasar, Rajasthan were built in the marquee worshipped daily by the host family as prescribed in the scriptures. A large Yagyashala was also built in the surrounding area, where oblations were offered daily along with the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. The first oblation in this Yagya was offered by Pujya Bhaishri. The other programs undertaken on this occasion included uninterrupted recitation of Shri Ramcharit Manas, recitation of Shri Hanuman Chalisa, Abhishek of Shri Hanumanji with red roses, offering of Sawamani Prasad, Kirtan of Shri Khaatushyamji, recitation of Sundarkand and Sant Sammelan. Pujya Dr. Anuragkrishnaji Pathak of Vrindavan also delivered a very interesting lecture on Gopigeet everyday.
The narration of Hanumat Chairtra commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by Pujya Bhaishri, Smt. Rajshree Birla, Smt. Jayawantiben Mehta and others.
All through the five days of discourses Pujya Bhaishri enlightened the audience with the divine attributes of Shri Hanumanji with enthralling anecdotes and stories from the Ramayana.
One of the things Pujya Bhaishri said that Shri Hanumanji had protected the lives of Shri Sitaji, Shri Lakshmanji and Shri Bharatji and hence Shri Ramji was indebted to Him. He narrated the Ramkatha to Shri Sitaji in Ashokvatika when she was struck with grief for being separated from Shri Ram, and assured her that he would bring Shri Ram to her within a month’s time. Thereby he protected the life of Shri Sitaji. When Shri Lakshmanji lost consciousness in the battlefield, Shri Hanumanji brought the Sanjeevani medicine and protected the life of Shri Lakshmanji. When Shri Ramji had still not arrived after fourteen years, Shri Bharatji was preparing for self immolation by lighting the pyre. At that time Shri Hanumanji delivered came to him and gave him good news of Shri Ram’s arrival to Ayodhya. Thus he also saved the life of Shri Bharatji. Lord Shri Ram is greatly indebted to Shri Hanumanji. Therefore he tells Bharat: “Bharatbhai, kapi se oorina ham nahi”.
Pujya Bhaishri also said, “Nothing can please Shri Hanumanji more than listening to the glories of Shri Ram. He enjoys it greatly. Hence he did not go to Saket Lok with Shri Ram. He stayed back on this earth and remains present at all places where Ramkatha is being narrated and listens to the stories of Shri Ram. If you want to please Ramji sing the glories of Shri Hanumanji and if you want to please Shri Hanumanji, sing the glories of Shri Ramji. So great is the character of Shri Hanumanji that if we could imbibe even one characteristic of Shri Hanumanji our lives would change forever.”
Thousands thronged everyday to listen to Pujya Bhaishri and participated in all the auspicious activities with great devotion.
