Ganesh Chaturthi and Ganesh Visarjan at Sandipani Vidyaniketan

This year, Ganesh Chaturthi coincided with Pujya Bhaishri’s birthday on the 31st of August. Rishikumars and staff of Sandipani Vidyaniketan celebrated both occasions with great enthusiasm.

Ganesh sthapan and puja was performed by the Rishikumars and some teachers. Pujya Bhaishri’s photograph was kept on the side and due respects were paid to him too. The Rishikumars organised and conducted the whole program starting with prayers and some bhajansfollowed by speeches by the Rishikumars, teachers and the Administrator.

All jointly prayed to Ganeshji for the emancipation of all and for the long and healthy life of Pujya Bhaishri.

Ganesh visarjan was done with great joy and fervour. Rishikumars led the procession to a stream behind the campus of the Vidyaniketan where they performed the visarjan ritualistically.
