“Good character is equally important to prevent the downfall of the society,” says Pujya Bhaishri in the Katha at Noida
A divine Shrimad Bhagavat Gyan Yagya was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad in Noida from 3rd October to 10th October 2012. The family of Shri K. L. Gupta was the chief sponsor of this katha. A grand Shobha Yatra of one thousand and eight kalash (decorated pots) set out from the ISKCON temple on the morning of 3rd October and reached the katha venue amidst chants of Hari naam sankirtan by thousands of devotees. The katha sessions were conducted daily in the evening.
During the course of the katha, Pujya Bhaishri enlightened everyone on the current issues facing the society at large. Pujya Bhaishri said, “Today, the character of people is deteriorating which is leading to the downfall of the society. Today, we are educating people but it is equally important that people become virtuous and of good character. The characters of Shri Krishna and Shri Ram will inspire people to be valuable and have good characters. This is why a katha is necessary and relevant in the current times.”
Shri Krishna pragatya, Govardhan pooja and Shriji vivah were celebrated with great fanfare. The President of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shri K. K. Bansalji, and his colleagues worked very hard to ensure that the katha was organised successfully. The entire katha was telecasted on Sanskar channel enabling millions of followers of Pujya Bhaishri across the globe to gain this divine opportunity.
