“Guru is the emancipator who expiates our sins and leads to spiritual accomplishment”said Pujya Bhaishri during the Guru Purnima celebrations at Detroit, USA.

“ Explaining the above shloka Pujya Bhaishri said-“The syllable ‘Gu’ in the word ‘Guru’ signifies the begetter of ‘Sidhdhi’ or Accomplishment, the syllable ‘Ru’ in the word ‘Guru’ signifies the expiator or remover of sins and the wovel ‘oo’ in the word ‘Guru’ signified Lord Shiva who is emancipation personified and facilitates emancipation of all who seek his refuge.” Pujya Bhaishri was speaking at the Hindu temple, Detroit on the occasion of Guru Purnima. The function was organized under the auspices of ‘Vaishvik Sanskriti Parivar and Shri Harinam Sankirtan Mandal, Detroit. Prior to his address, Shri. Arvindbhai Patel and Smt. Prabhaben Patel offered Gurupujan to Pujya Bhaishri on the occasion of Vyas Purnima.

On the invitation of above referred organizations Pujya Bhaishri reached Detroit on 11th July and addressed a series of meetings on 11th,12th and 13th July 2003. Quoting extensively from Shrimad Bhagwat, Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta and Shri Ramcharit Manas, Pujya Bhaiji explained the importance of four purusharths or endeavours in human life. Comparing the life of a saint to that of a flowing river, Pujya Bhaishri said that a saint’s life flows pure and clean within the banks or limits of the scriptures and Dharma and in the process quenches people’s thirst for knowledge and soothes their hearts and minds.

Pujya Bhaishri also advised the people to earn ethically, live in accordance with Dharma and worship God with devotion.
