Guru Purnima Celebrations at Sandipani

Once again this year Pujya Bhaishri graced Sandipani with his presence. Devotees from all over India and some from even abroad came to Sandipani to take the benefit of Guru pujan.

On the 29th of July teachers from various schools and colleges of Porbandar were invited to Sandipani and were felicitated by Pujya Bhaishri. Smt. Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani was present too. Pujya Bhaishri said that teachers lay the foundation of children’s lives and play a very crucial role in their upbringing and thus must be respected and duly felicitated as important role players and Gurus.

In the night, a classical bhajan program was presented by renowned Hemant Chauhan and his wife.

On the 30th, Guru Gita was recited by Pujya Bhaishri and all devotees after which Pujya Bhaishri gave an enlightening discourse on the importance of a Guru in our lives. He went on to say that a Guru is not only a Guru but a mother, father and everything else. He quoted Soordasji’s famous Aashray ka pad, “Dridaa ina charanan kero bharoso…” which was written by Soordasji for his Guru…. Soordasji didn’;t see the difference between Guru and Govind, such intense was his devotion said Pujya Bhaishri.

An emotional and divine experience… everyone listened transfixed to Bhaishri. After his discourse Guru pujan was performed by one and all and went for more than three hours.

In the evening, a Parivar Ghoshti was organised where a synopsis of all the activities taken place during Pujya Bhaishri’s Svarna Jayanti Varsha was shared with all Vaishvik Sanskruti parivar members.

11 more seva projects were introduced for the Parivar to take up from 1st of September onwards.

In the night, Gujarati bhajans was performed once again by a celebrated artist.
