How can we see God within us?
God is within all and outside of all.
Antarbahiravasthitaṃ
There is no place without God, but everything is within God. It is not possible that anything can be outside of God. No existence is possible other than God or separate from God.
Vedas say: Puruṣa evedaṃ sarvam.
So, everything is within God. Nothing exists outside of God. In addition, God is present within us and outside of us.
So how do we see God within us?
In the 2nd canto in Shrimad Bhagavat the first two chapters, are on meditation (dhyān prakaraṇ). In these chapters, the method for sthūla dhyān (meditation of that which has manifest, physical existence) and sūkṣma dhyān (meditation of the subtle, ethereal) have been explained.
So, whatever exists is the form of God, this notion is sthūla dhyān.

Seeing God in all is not a big thing. Seeing gold in a gold necklace, gold bangle, gold waist chain or gold earrings, what is so hard in this? In fact, it is all gold. These are different forms of gold. Similarly, what we see are the various forms of God. This understanding from the Vedas, teaching from Guru, when this is firmly embedded in one, naturally, one will see God in all.
In our hearts also,
Kecitsvadehāntarhṛadayāvakāśe, pradeśamātraṃ puruṣaṃ vasantam SB 2.2.8
Close your eyes and sit calmly. Try to see God within. In the beginning, see and meditate upon Narayan with his four arms as well as his weapons in your heart,
But, as we continue to do that, when we reach a state of having no thoughts, no resolution or choices, then we have won over your mind. Furthermore, we will be in a state of extreme peace and bliss, where we do nothing, we become a witness. At this point, understand that you are close to God.
These are the two ways of seeing God within our self.
