Listeners make a resolution with Pujya Bhaishri on keeping India clean in the Hyderabad Katha

A divine Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri was organised for the first time in the newly created state of Telangana in South India, in the city of Hyderabad. The katha was hosted from 28 October 2014 to 4 November 2014 by Shri Raghumalji Ramnivasji Bhutda.

Thousands of people joined the Shobha Yatra, with chants and singing God’s name, from Shri Hanumanji’s temple. At the venue, the auspicious lamp was kindled by the host family followed by mangalacharan by Pujya Bhaishri.

Pujya Bhaishri said in the katha, “Bharat (India) is currently being ruled under strong leadership. Our Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has begun the Clean India campaign. As a true and awakened citizen, we must all participate in this campaign. A clean country will become a healthy country. Let us see new steps of progression in the country.”

Pujya Bhaishri encouraged all the listeners to take an oath on cleanliness. You can view this ten minute video on:

During the celebrations of the birth of Lord Krishna, Pujya Bhaishri explained the reason for the incarnation of Lord Krishna saying that Lord Krishna did not come into this world only to free people from demons. He also came to remove the pain of separation from him within devotees, to fulfil the devotees’ desire of His darshan and to give them the reward of their devotion. Shri Krishna present during Mahabharat is exemplary to us even today. Shri Krishna is not just an incarnation, he is a bundle of thoughts.

Shri Krishna janma, Shri Giriraj Pooja and Shri Rukmini vivah were celebrated with great fanfare. The entire katha was filled with devotional vibrations and filled thousands of devotees with bliss.
