Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri began today, 4th September 2019, in Gondal, Gujarat, India, for eight days. This katha is part of the resolution of Mahamandaleshwar 1008 Param Pujya Haricharandasji Maharajshri who oversees divine seva activities such as Shri Ram Sarvajanik Hospital amongst others. The katha began with kindling of the auspicious lamp in the presence of many spiritual leaders and devotees.
Live in Joy – Shrimad Bhagavat Katha begins in Gondal, India
Pujya Bhaishri said that the tradition of our spiritual leaders (sant) has been extraordinary. Our devotees, who are also poets (examples being Tulsidasji, Narsinh Mehtaji), have explained those concepts that our Vedanta scholars have struggled to explain in an extremely simple manner.
This world is like the tides in an ocean. Leave without burdens. One must also be free from the burden of knowledge. Life should be fluid and flexible. In this path of devotion, the less the weight, the faster we will reach God. To reach God is imperative. Bliss is the name of life.
Pujya Bhaishri explained the importance of living in joy and to let go whilst singing the Gujarati bhajan ‘Moj maa rehavu…’ as shown in this video clip from Day 1 Gondal Katha.
