Mahashivratri celebrations at Varanasi, India

Like each year Pujya Bhaishri joined the Mahashivratri celebrations organised by the Seth Kishorilal Jalan Seva Trust, Varanasi on 7th and 8th March 2005.

Both the nights were filled with music and dance performances by various artists from the country.

Sushri Manisha Mishra of Lucknow gave a Kathak performance and Shri Tajemdra Marayan Majumdar from Kolkata played the Sarod on 7th March.

Sursvari Jayita Pandit, a vocalist from Kolkata sang and Shrimati Sushmita Shrimati Devpriya from Mumbai played the flute on 8th March.

Pujya Bhaishri enjoyed the performances and gave his blessings to all the artists. He performed the Shivratri puja on 8th March with great pomp and fervour and visited the Kaashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan.
