Malaysia Shrimad Bhagavat Katha: Pujya Bhaishri explains the importance of the name of Shri Hari

Pujya Bhaishri narrated a divine Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 19 May to 25 May 2014, under the auspices of Vaishvik Sanskruti Parivar. One special aspect about this Katha was that many members of Sanskruti Parivar from across the world, including, India, USA, Fiji, Australia, UK and Malaysia attended this Katha.

Also, Param Pujya Mahamandaleshwar Karshni Shri Gurusharananandji Maharaj graced the Katha with his loving presence for four days. Respected Shri Nareshbhai Nagrecha and Veenaben Nagrecha were the Chief hosts of this Katha. On the first day, Pujya Maharajshri conveyed his blessings to the assembled audience after kindling of the auspicious lamp.

After mangalaacharan, Pujya Bhaishri said that we have held the finger of Shri Bhagavatji and arrived here. Our daily spiritual journey is sight-seeing during the day and listening to the Katha in the evenings. Besides, only those who move about can think. Our centre focus is Shri Krishna and we will be moving around him.

During the Katha, Pujya Bhaishri greatly stressed the importance of the name of God. He said,” God’s name is more powerful than God Himself. Chanting God’s name strengthens our love for Him and leads to emancipation. It is said that in Kaliyug, we will attain God faster by singing His name. Hence, chant God’s name as much as possible”.

Pujya Bhaishri visited various tourist attractions like the local ancient temple built in South Indian style, Prime Minister’s House, The President’s Residence and I-city. Shri Krishna janma, Govardhan Pooja and Shri Rukmini vivah were celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. Shri Dharamdasbhai Thakkar and Shri Gautambhai Oza had put in great efforts in the meticulous planning of this Katha.
