Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri at Nanded in Maharashtra began on 9th May 2019. This city in Marathwada subdivision is famous for its Gurudwara, which is part of Hazur Sahib.

The people of Nanded were filled with excitement as they welcomed Pujya Bhaishri after 18 years.

Following the chanting of God’s name, the chief hosts of the Katha, the family of late Shri Ganpatji Marge performed the worship of Pothiji. Thereafter the divine lamp was kindled by Param Pujya Jagdishji Maharaj and the ex-minister Shri Ashok Chauhanji.

Pujya Bhaishri began narrating the Katha and discussed the true nature of bliss. Pujya Bhaishri said,

Vaya tu na vitrupyām uttamślokavikrame I

Yachhruvatāṃ rasgnānām svādu svādu pade pade II

Those who have established a divine relationship with Lord Krishna do not get satisfied listening to his leelas (pastimes), nor are they tired of describing God’s pastimes. This is what fills them with bliss.

This means that bliss exists where there is interest/enthusiasm/passion. The other name of this experienced bliss is Shri Krishna. Our scriptures also say:

Raso vai saha

meaning, God is the reservoir of all pleasure.

Katha is such that one does not need to make effort to engross their mind in it. The mind is automatically engrossed.

The other name of this world is sorrow, in which we look for happiness. Look, my dear! bliss is the name of the absence of both happiness and sorrow.
