Day 1
Pujya Bhaishri welcomes all

In his speech on day 1, Pujya Bhaishri welcomed all in their own home, Sandipani. He welcomed the announcement by the Gujarat Government of school holidays during Navratri which is receiving mixed reviews and criticisms by the public.

Words of Wisdom by Shri Shankaracharya Divyanandtirthaji

Shri Divyanandtirthaji clarified that his Katha is very much based on Vedanta. Words of wisdom from his Katha are shared below:

  • Not all worshippers are saintlike, but those who are saintly are certainly infallible worshippers. We forget to offer flowers to God whilst Ravan offered his head; we may not perform aarati out of laziness whilst Ravan created the Shiv Tandav Stotra. Thus, Ravan was a worshipper, but not saintlike as he kidnapped another’s wife. The actions of a saint-like person will certainly be pious.
  • Trust is God: When Swami Vivekanand was asked about God, he uttered the word ‘Trust’ three times, then said that the Trust within you is God.

The first camp to begin on day one was the dental camp.

Day 2
‘Why perform Navratri Anushthan?,’ Explains Pujya Bhaishri

At the start of the recitation of Shri Ram Chait Manas, Pujya Bhaishri explained the reason for the importance of performing Anushthan (ceremonial rites/rituals) during Navratri by saying, “When a farmer farms in the rainy season, the results are different to other seasons. Similarly, aspirants should perform Anushthan that suits them during Navratri and this is why we are here”.

Yesterday, we worshipped Maa Shailputri and today we worshipped Maa Bhramacharini. Hence worshipping the different forms of Maa is the characteristic of Navratri.

Shri Ram janma was joyfully celebrated by all today during the recitation of Shri Ram Charit Manas.

The graduated Rishikumnars of Sandipani, Shri Shyambhai Thakar and Vipulbhai Vegada have been supporting Pujya Bhaishri in the recitation of Shri Ram Charit Manas.

Pujya Bhaishri visited the food hall today where all attending these divine celebrations enjoy prasād.

After Aarati, Pujya Bhaishri joined all in playing garba.
