Pujya Bhaishri celebrates the Mandir Mahotsav at the Sanatan Mandir in Crawley
Pujya Bhaishri inaugurated the auspicious event of the opening of the new Sanatan Mandir at Crawley, UK, from 21st May to 23rd May 2010. This temple had been long awaited by the Crawley Hindu Community for the past 10 years.
The temple’s three day Pran Pratishtha ceremonies were attended by more than four thousand people. The events, all in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri, included: prayers, short discourses by Pujya Bhaishri, cultural events in the evening and refreshments.
During his sermons Pujya Bhaishri said, “In this part of Britain, there is not such a bit temple as this and it was very much needed. We have completed this project and we are very much happy.” Pujya Bhaishri also thanked all the people who had worked hard to fulfil this dream, including the people of Gurjar Hindu Union. Furthermore, Pujya Bhaishri explained the importance of the first aarti performed in a temple and thus requested all the devotees to attend the first aarti on the morning of 23rd May.
The new Sanatan Mandir in Crawley includes areas for religious and cultural activities as well as a large hall dedicated to sports, education and arts.
The event was celebrated with great success by the Hindu Community of Crawley who’s’ dreams had finally come true.
In addition, on 30th May, Pujya Bhaishri attended the extravagant opening ceremony of the Sanatan Mandir in Wembley, London, with other great saints like Param Pujya Swami Shri Chidanand Saraswatiji (well known as Pujya Muniji), and Pujya Shri Rambaba.
