Pujya Bhaishri conducts Gita Panchah Gyan Yagna at the Ambani residence on Karma Yoga

From the 2nd of July to the 6th the Ambani residence glittered with the most elite class of India’s businessmen, industrialists, politicians, actors and actresses attending Pujya Bhaishri’s discourses on Karma Yoga of the Bhagwad Geeta. Held to mark the first death anniversary of Late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, the discourses on Karma Yoga were most apt. As we all know Shri Dhirubhai Ambani believed in the power of Karma and always quoted “Work is Worship”.

The stage was remarkably beautiful with a minutely painted backdrop depicting the beautiful Vrindavan and a tomb like roof of leaves giving a tree like effect. On the side of the stage a temple like formation was made housing a replica like idol of Shri Shrinathji. Every day darshans were heart capturing and left one elated.

Pujya Shri Gurusharnanandji Maharaj inaugurated the discourse on the first day and gave a small discourse. Talking about various subjects from Astro Physics to relating some stories Maharajji had the audience captivated. Bhajan programs by renowned singer Nitin Mukesh would take everybody in spirit to Gokuldham. Other singers like Kum. Deeptiben performed too. Pujya Bhaishri would commence the discourse after the bhajan program.

Pujya Bhaishri gave explanations on all the shloks of Chapter 3, Karma Yoga of the Bhagwad Geeta leaving everybody enraptured. One would leave the place thinking on all that Pujya Bhaishri had said. Philosophy at its basics induces everybody to think and that is what Pujya Bhaishri wanted. The elite class of the country to think, think for the benefit of not only the individuals, or families, or society but the whole nation.

He began with telling the audience about the background of the Bhagwad Geeta, a synopsis of the first two chapters where Shri Krishna has already started to simplify Arjun’s confusions. Pujya Bhaishri stressed on the fact that it is very important to understand one’s inner being. He said that like Arjun if you are Rajoguni then you cannot sit and meditate whole day long. You are not yet meant to do that. You cannot sit in one place. A Rajoguni has to do some activity without which he cannot stay. But what kind of activity? One which is righteous. Arjun had a lot of Rajogun and although Shri Krishna advises him about Gyan Yoga in Chapter 2 he yet asks Arjun to follow Karma Yoga in Chapter 3. Simply because Arjun is Rajoguni and he is meant to be doing heavy activity. In such ways Pujya Bhaishri explained each verse.

Pujya Bhaishri sang, gave examples from stories, played humour and spoke firmly. In a way which leaves no confusions. No other scripture can, in 700 shloks put forth the Indian philosophy in a better, clearer way than the Bhagwad Geeta. It was an enlightening experience for all present.
