Pujya Bhaishri Explains Why Punjab Is Unique At The Golden Temple
Pujya Bhaishri visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar for darshan and then visited the army at the Wagah border. Here, he saw the daily military ceremony where the National flag was carried back to the base at sundown.
Whilst doing the circumbulation of the Golden Temple with the chairman and senior sevaks of HarMandirSahib, he said that, “The Land of Punjab is unique because it posseses both the essential wheels of the chariot of righteousness described by Lord Ram in the battlefield of Lanka:
- Bravery, and
- forbearance
“Just as the Guru Granth Sahib teaches truth and patience to endure all pairs of opposite (happiness and distress, cold and heat etc), so are the weapons of bravery displayed in readiness to assert righteousness.”
“There is a harmonious balance of the two without either of which the chariot of righteousness cannot assert victory. Punjab is the land blessed with the balance of both these wheels”.
