Pujya Bhaishri’s Katha flows to Vadodara
Gujarat’s city of Art and Culture hosted a Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri from 3rd to 10th March 2010 under the support of Sarvajanik Shrimad Bhagavat Saptah Gyan Yagya Samiti and the help and inspiration of Shri Chanakya Seva Trust. The family of Shri Shashikantbhai Soni was the chief host of this katha.
The Shobha Yatra of the Pothiji left from the residence of the Ex-MP Dilubhai Chudasama and reached the venue with great enthusiasm. Pujya Pad Goswami 108 Shri Dwarkeshlalji Maharaj kindled the auspicious lamp. In his inaugural address, he requested Pujya Bhaishri to shower his blessings unreservedly on the people of Vadodara since they had been waiting for his words of wisdom eagerly for 15 years.
Thereafter, the organiser of the katha, Shri Ishwarbhai Dave, delivered his welcome speech. Reputed Vaidya of Bhuvaneshwari Peeth of Gondal, Dr. Ravidarshanji, graced the katha as a chief guest.
Explaining the importance of the Shrimad Bhagavat, Pujya Bhaishri said that the Bhagavat katha is the mirror of our lives. This mirror shows us our true nature. The Shrimad Bhagavat is also a divine river where people come to quench their thirst for knowledge and seek solace.
The birth of divine Nand-nandan was celebrated with great joy at 9pm on the fifth day of the katha. Giriraj puja and Rukmini vivah were also celebrated with great fanfare.
Pujya pad Goswamini Shri Indira Betiji also honoured the katha. In her speech she said that Pujya Bhaishri is the brother of the entire mankind in the world.
