Republic Day Sandesh by Pujya Bhaishri – The only way to eradicate corruption

26th January, The Republic Day of India, is an ideal time to contemplate on our current journey from the past six decades from self-rule to a good and efficient ruling Government.

We are a democratic constitution, whereby the ruling of the Government is meant to be of the people, for the people and by the people. However, every independence has a responsibility attached to it. So far, this responsibility has not been accomplished to the satisfaction of each and every citizen of India. Before even talking about good conduct by the citizens, even good manners are slowly annihilating and being replaced with a wide spread of corruption.

Our work is not to continue seeing the corruption, but to bring a change in this. A teacher like Chanakya can change the whole authority and the country’s reputation leading to an efficient ruling.

In order to see a brighter future for India (Bharat) we need to start to bring about a change today and begin with ourselves. The Republic Day is an ideal day to make a resolution for our country. This day is not only about hoisting and respecting our national flag, singing the national anthem and patriotic songs. If we believe that this is all we should do on our Republic Day, then we will remain in the same state as today for the next several decades.

Building our characters is the only way forward to eradicate corruption.
