Gurukul Admission Process and Fees

The following are the steps in the admission process for entry into Sandipani Gurukul:

Application forms are issued from the first week of May. Applications forms are also available in PDF below.

Closing date for applications is 31st July.

For admission into Grades 4 to 8, students are invited to take an oral test. The pass mark is 50%.

From Grade 9, a written test in Maths and English must be taken and results of Grade 8 submitted. The pass mark is 60%.

Admission into Grade 11 Science and Commerce is based on the results of the Board Exam. Pass mark for Science is 60% and Commerce is 50%.

Parents are informed if a child is successful within a week. At this point, a letter is also issued to inform the items to bring should the students wish to reside in the hostel.

  • Only one type of concession will apply to any student.
  • If the staff member’s child has no father, the higher concession rate will apply from the table above.
