Satsang and Satkarma, Sanskruti Parivar, USA

The US chapter of Sanskruti Parivar has been very active throughout the year organizing various programs. Their main activities include weekly satsangs held on Friday evenings between 8.30 P.M. to 10.00 P.M. and celebration of all religious festivals such as Ramnavmi, Krishna Janmashtami, New Year, Shivaratri, etc.

Recently they had the special privilege of hosting Pujya Bhaishiri’s Satsang in July 2001 and offering their pujan to Pujya Bhaishri on Guru Purnima in the presence of Shri Chidanand Saraswatiji, Pujya Muniji.

Lectures of Dr. Gautambhai Patel on Shrimad Bhagwat were arranged from 31st Aug. to 9th Sept. 2001. A series of lectures on Kathopanishad by Dr. Shri Dhirubhai Doshi were also arranged. Kirtan program of Shri Radha-Vallabh Prabhuji was also organized.

They have been very active in mobilizing funds for the Gujarat earthquake relief and also disseminating information of the relief activities.

Apart from the above they have also been actively involved with other Indian organizations in co-coordinating and arranging programs of Shri Sudarshanji and Shri Ashok Singhalji.

For the forthcoming year, the US chapter is planning to start new centers of Sanskruti Parivar, arranging ahkhand Ram dhuns and Ramayana Paath in support of the Shri Ram mandir in Ayodhya, organizing tours to the Jyotirlings in India, etc.
