Shri Krishna’s birthday Celebrations at Shri Hari Mandir

The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy this year at Shri Hari Mandir in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri. The celebrations began with the presentation of melodious bhajans by Vallabhacharya Satsang group of Porbandar. Thereafter, The Sanskrit shlokas from the Shrimad Bhagavat describing the divine birth of Lord Shri Krishna were recited. This was followed by pooja, worship and aarati of the child form of Shri Baal Krishna by Pujya Bhaishri and the chief host of the occasion, the family of Shri Kapilbhai Sompura.

The Rishikumars of Sandipani and devotees present made the celebrations even more joyful by performing raas garba and thereby inviting Shri Krishna on his birthday. At the end of the event, prasad and panchamrut was distributed to all the devotees present.
