“Shrimad Bhagwat removes all miseries and leads to liberation,” said Pujya Bhaishri during Bhagwat katha at Kutch, India
“Shrimad Bhagwat is the scripture that removes all miseries and develops love for Lord Krishna. The roaring sounds of the knowledge enunciated in Shrimad Bhagwat sends the timid animals of sins running for cover. When an individual gives up this world and seeks refuge of Lord Krishna he finds true joy and ultimately attains liberation,” so said Pujya Bhaishri while speaking at the inauguration of Bhagwat Katha held at Ratatalav in Kutch.
This katha was organized from 12 to 19th May, 2004 by the Bhanushali family for the protection and cultivation of cows and their progenies. A large Gaushala is proposed to be built at the site of the katha to provide shelter to thousands of cows. About five thousand people of Ratatalav and surrounding villages came to hear Pujya Bhaishri’s Bhagwat katha.
The Shobhayatra began from Naredi village which is five kilometers away from Ratatalab. Renowned saints like Shri Haridasji and Shri Karsandasji inaugurated the katha by lighting the auspicious lamp. A notable feature of this katha was that bhajan programs with popular bhajan singers such as Shri Niranjanbhai Pandya and Lalitaben were organized in the evenings.
All important occasions like Nandmahotsav, Govardhan mahotsav, Rukmini vivah, etc, were celebrated with zest and fervour.
Concluding his katha on the 19th, Pujya Bhaishri said, “Human beings do not exist for material objects but the material objects exist for the benefit of human beings. A society that values material objects more than human beings is a materialistic society, while a society that values human beings more than these objects is a true spiritual society. An individual is more important than objects. Hence we should love people and make appropriate use of the objects instead of doing vice versa.”
