“Spiritual progress is as important and necessary as material world progress”, said Pujya Bhaishri in Anugul Katha
Pujya Bhaishri narrated a Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in the divine land of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhuji, in the town of Anugul, located in the State of Odisha, from 11 March to 18 March 2015.
The Shobha Yatra commenced from Shri Jagannath temple with devotees chanting and singing the Lord’s name till the venue.
After the initial prayers (mangalaacharan), Pujya Bhaishri said in the katha that we are drinking the nectar of this katha in the presence of Shri Jagannathji. No one is an orphan in this world. The master of all is Shri Jagannathji.
“In the current times, as we run after the materialistic world, humanity, religion and righteousness are being lost. Just like ‘salt-less’ salt and ‘sugar-less’ sugar are available nowadays, similarly, religion is also becoming religion-less. Even the priests in temples, who are messengers of God, are selling religion and the name of God for money,” said Pujya Bhaishri.
Pujya Bhaishri also said in the katha that the development of spirituality is as important and necessary as the development of the material world. Otherwise, we will progress externally but remain empty from the inside. True progression is developing oneself internally and externally, which is attained through katha.
The entire katha was telecast on Sanskar channel and was a great spiritual experience for all.
