The Irony in Our Life – Thoughts from Day 1 Vapi Katha by Pujya Bhaishri

Shrimad Bhagavat Katha by Pujya Bhaishri commenced today at Vapi, Gujarat.

The kindling of the auspicious lamp was carried out by Pujya Goswami 108 Shri Govindrayji Maharaj, Pujya Kapil Swami and other saints.

We share the thoughts from day 1 by Pujya Bhaishri below.

It is such an irony that a human will trust another human being but not compassionate God, who has given birth to human beings. Shri Hari is the giver of this human body, the mind, intellect, thoughts and energy.

When a person wakes up in the morning, one wishes Good morning to all the family members. However, one forgets and fails to wish God a good morning who is the donor of another morning.

Do not fear the world being upset with you, but focus on God not becoming upset with you. It is okay to forget that this body is merely made of bones and flesh but be careful not to forget God.

Do not run after Laxmi (wealth); Get hold of Narayan and Laxmi will run after you.

Māyā ko har koi bhaje, Hari ko bhaje nā koy,

Kaha Kabīr Hari ko bhaje, māyā cerī (dāsī) hoy”.

Meaning:

Most worship Maya (illusion,) but nobody worships God, Kabir says that if God is worshipped, then illusion becomes one’s servant.
