“The path of devotion is most suitable in our times” said Pujya Bhaishri during during Chennai Bhagwat katha.
“Though both Gyan Marg and Bhakti Marg lead us to our emancipation the disciplines of the two paths differ greatly from each other.” said Pujya Bhaishri during the Chennai Bhagwat Katha. Elaborating his point Pujya Bhaishri said, “The path of knowledge (Gyan Marg) requires 100% renunciation (Vairagya) while the path of devotion (Bhakti Marg) requires 100% love (Prem). The path of knowledge requires great perseverance and persistence. It also takes up a longer time. Therefore in present times it is a very difficult path to follow. Comparatively the path of devotion is quite simple and easy to follow. We only have to remember and recollect the divine exploits (Bhawad Lila) of our Lord which nourishes our devotion and leads us to the highest love for God. Therefore it is advisable for us to tread the simple and easy path of devotion so that we remain connected to Lord Krishna and attain our ultimate emancipation.”
The Bhagwat Katha was organized from 18-8-2004 to 25-8-2004 under the auspices of ‘Dakshin Bharat Satsang Samiti’ formed by Sarvashri Bansilalji Rathi, Damaniji, Kasturchand Bahetiji, Shantibhai Kamdar, Manubhai Pujara and others.
All important festivals like Shri Krishna Janmotsav, Shri Govardhanutsav and Rukmini Vivah were celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm.
