The World is an abode of eternal misery, so where is happiness? Explains Pujya Bhaishri in Delhi Katha

Pujya Bhaishri narrated a heavenly Shrimad Bhagavat Katha in Delhi from 12 November to 19 November 2014. The assembled devotees joined a beautiful Shobha Yatra on the first day accompanied with chants of Shri Hari.

During the katha, Pujya Bhaishri said, “devotion for God manifests in our life through listening to Shri Krishna Katha, contemplating on His divine qualities, seeing Shri Krishna leela (adventures) and chanting His name. We often forget our spiritual progress in our quest for material progress. At such times, Bhagavat katha draws us back to the path of self-contemplation.”

“We expect happiness from this world. This in itself is our big mistake because the material world is devoid of happiness. The world is an abode of eternal misery. Hence, it can give us nothing but pain and misery. Happiness dwells only at the lotus feet of Shri Hari. Thus, we should take refuge at the lotus feet of Shri Hari”.

Shri Krishna janma, Shri Giriraj Pooja and Shri Rukmini vivah were celebrated with great fanfare. Listeners were blessed further with the presence of Param Pujya Shri Guru Sharananandji Maharaj on the last day.
