A Powerful start to Sanskruti Chintan Event by MP, Dr. Subramanian Swamy

As part of the Holi celebrations, a three-day programme on Sanskruti Chintan (thoughts on various topics) began at Sandipani today, on 18th March 2019, in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri. Themes for talks on the three days will be on the country, scriptures, Gandhiji and other values. The event was inaugurated by the honourable MP, Dr. Subramanian Swamy.

Pujya Bhaishri expressed his delight at the start that the event was beginning with Dr. Swamy presenting his thoughts on the country.

Pujya Bhaishri said that Dr. Swamy has his own thoughts and vision which he presents very well in a fearless manner. With the example of Virāt Narayan who has many heads but one heart, Pujya Bhaishri explained that our country Bharat has many heads of different thoughts but they are united with one heart.

Following Pujya Bhaishri’s speech the auspicious lamp was kindled by the litterateur, Shri Dinkar Joshi, poet, Rajendra Shukla, MP Dr Subramanian Swamy, Shri Narottam Palan and Shri Bhagyesh Jha.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy then presented his thoughts on the country. His talk was based on NATIONALISM and PATRIOTISM and the difference between the two. Patriotism, he said, is whereby one is ready to sacrifice life for the country whilst nationalism is when one is ready to maintain the ancient values of the country.

Dr. Swamy stressed how everyone in the country is united. This has been seen every time there has been an attack on the country including the recent examples of China and Pakistan.

In the evening, various poets from Gujarat including Shri Rajendra Shukla, Shri Rajesh Vyas, Shri Mehul Devkala, Shri Hiten Anandpara, Shri Milind Gadhvi, Shri Parul Khakh, Shri Dipak Trivedi, Shri Snehal Joshi and Shri Prarthana Jha presented their poems.
