Celebrating Our Acharya Jayanti’s

Adi Shankaracharya Bhagavāna & Jagadguru Ramanujacharya

There are 2 strong pillars of Sanātana Dharma. The Ācārya tradition (Paramparā) and The Santa tradition. Saints have largely come from North of India whilst the Ācāryas have mostly come from the South. Homage to Ācārya tradition on advent of two today – Ādi Shankarācārya Bhagavāna & Jagadguru Rāmanujācārya.

Introduction to Sanatan Parampara
  • The two Schools of Thought and how they are founded on the Prasthāna Trayi (three canonical texts) which consists of the Upaniṣad, Brahma Sūtras and The Bhagavad Gītā.
  • How that One Truth (Paramātmā) has been viewed by our Ācāryas from different lenses, keeping with the foundations of our Prasthāna Trayi, with the view for the welfare of mankind.

Felicitation to all as we celebrate Bhagavāna Ādi Śaṇkarācārya and Rāmanujācārya Jayanti.

Acharya Parampara and Sant Parampara
  • Both the Ācārya and Santa Paramparā are the two foundations of Sanātana Vedic Saṃskṛti.
  • If one of these foundations were not to exist, then this Sanātana Paramparā would not sustain itself!
  • The Ācārya Paramparā live a life of purity worshipping that One Truth, situated in discourse, publication, and literature, stemming from the south region of India (Dakṣina Bhārata).
  • Santa Paramparā are those who inspire and illuminate society and have stemmed from the north region of India (Uttara Bhārata)
