Devotees enjoy a spiritually divine Shibir on Gitaji at Matheran

A divine Gita Chintan Shibir was organised by Vaishvik Sanskruti Parivar at the beautiful and scenic Hill station, Matheran, India, from 27 February to 2 March 2015 in the presence of Pujya Bhaishri. Approximately 200 people attended this event organised by K.V. Tours and Travels.

The morning sessions held from 8.30am to 10am involved discourses by Pujya Bhaishri on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita while in the afternoons, from 6.30pm to 8pm, Pujya Bhaishri answered spiritual questions from the devotees who attended the event.

Pujya Bhaishri said at the beginning, “Look my beloved people, there are two types of gatherings: one for general people and the other for extra-ordinary people. This gathering is for special people like you who Shri Krishna has invited.”

Pujya Bhaishri also explained that Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is a universal scripture in which the word Hindu is not mentioned anywhere. It contains the solution to the current problems in life as well as discussions about Supreme God.

First of all, let us try to understand who that Supreme Reality is that Shri Krishna discusses with Arjun. The Supreme Reality (Brahma) is without a form, qualities and a non-doer. When the Supreme Reality unites with illusion (maya), it is called Ishwar. When Ishwar incarnates in the form of Krishna or Ram on earth, he is called Bhagavan (God).

Pujya Bhaishri also talked on knowledge, action, devotion, detachment and explained the importance of yagya from Gitaji.

This Shibir was highly spiritual and enjoyed by all.
