Devotees of Shri Ram decorated marquee of katha yagna by writing one billion raam naam during Bhilwara Ram katha in Rajasthan

The Sadvichar Parivar of Bhilwara organized a Ram Katha Gyan Yagya where Pujya Bhaishri narrated this divine puraan from 8th Feb. to 16th Feb.2003 at Bhilwara in Rajasthan. The proceeds of this Gyan Yagya will be utilized for the benefit of drought affected people and cattle and also for distribution of food and medical relief to the needy. Pujya Bhaishri has always aimed at improving social awareness and commitment of people along with their spiritual emancipation through his katha sessions. Hence this Gyan Yagya was in furtherance of the cause espoused by him.

The most notable feature of this Ram Katha Gyan Yagya was the display in the katha marquee of one billion Ram naam written by the devotees of Lord Ram. The Shobha Yatra of the Pothiji entered the marquee after performing a traditional Parikrama of these Ram naam.

Important festivals like Ram Janmotsav, Ram Vivaha, Ram Rajyabhishek, Chhappan Bhog, etc. were celebrated with great devotion and fervour.

Along with the katha Pujya Bhaishri also attended various cultural and religious functions during his stay in Bhilwara. These functions were as follows:

1) On 9th Feb. Bhaishri inaugurated the Madhavrao Sadashiv Golwalkar Gau Vigyan Sansthan, a research institute founded by RSS in memory of its second Sarsanghchalak. The gaushala of this institute has been built at the cost of Rs. 1.5 crores.

2) On 10th Feb. Pujya Bhaishri visited ‘Adarsh Vidya Mandir’ a school which caters to the educational needs of girls from three neighbouring districts.

3) Bhaishri visited the Charbhuja temple and Panchmukhi Hanuman temple on 11th Feb. From there he went to Kamdhenu Gaushala, the institute that produces medicines from ‘Panch Gavyas’. Bhaishri then visited the Ramsnehi Hospital run under the inspiration and directions of Shri Ramdayalji, the Chief of the Ramsnehi sampraday. This hospital provides treatment for orthopedic and women’s diseases.

4) On 12th Feb. Pujya Bhaishri addressed the youth wing of Bharat Vikas Parishad.

5) Pujya Bhaishri visited the famous Shiva temple at Mondalgaon on 14th Feb. Here he was felicitated by the local Muslim organization Anjuman Committee. Pujya Bhaishri also visited a Gaushala near Mondal village where the State Chief of Minority Commission Haji Mohammed met him and discussed the issue of cow protection. Haji Mohammed promised Bhaishri to work for the protection and betterment of cows and their progenies.

6) On 15th Feb. Bhaishri inaugurated a Satsang Bhavan.

7) On 16th Feb. Pujya Bhaishri proceeded to Shreenathji after the Purnahuti of the Ram Katha Gyan Yagya.
