The devotees in Surat are immersed in the bliss of Ram Krishna Bhagavat Pravāh in Surat as seen in Day 2 highlights of the Katha. Let us also benefit from the beautiful points covered by Pujya Bhaishri on this day.

Youth – the most important stage in life

Impressed with the great work by the youngsters, Pujya Bhaishri advices how important youth is as a stage of life and how this begins with providing values to our children from childhood. Watch this video to listen to Pujya Bhaishri’s advice.

How to keep money healthy

Pujya Bhaishri then explains regarding wealth that wealth earned from hard work is also not for accumulation but to utilise it for virtuous purposes. The economy will remain healthy if money keeps moving, just like the heart remains healthy if blood keeps circulating properly. Otherwise the blood will clot and one suffers from a heart attack or stroke. Similarly, money must also not gather in one place.

The importance of cows

From the panchāmrit, three constituents of milk, clarified butter and curd are obtained from the cow. A cow is a very sensitive being. It will even know if someone is ill in the house or has passed away. It loves cleanliness. You will notice it will not sit in the mud in the rainy season. It will go and sit on the road where it is clean. Hence, we cannot call a cow an animal/creature.

Gāvo vishvasva mātaraḥ.

Cow is the universal mother. We believe that 33 crores deities reside in the cow.

One name of Vishnu is Vishva. Meaning, Vishnu is this universe. I have attained wealth from the universe so I will use it to serve the universe. This should be our attitude. God has given me this wealth, so I am using it to serve God. So how can I be arrogant of giving it back to God? What values have our Rishis given us! The entire world needs these values.
